On August 31, 2000, Shoukoufeh Larija-ni, a former employee of Georgetown University who worked at the library at the University’s Medical Center, brought this action against her supervisor, Jane L. Blu-menthal, and against the University, alleging intentional infliction of emotional distress. The defendants filed a motion to dismiss the complaint pursuant to Super. Ct. Civ.
