Appellant, Joseph Robbins Tackett, pleaded guilty to the offense of aggravated sexual assault of a child without an agreed plea recommendation. The trial court placed him on ten years deferred adjudication and a fine of $500. Subsequently, the trial court proceeded to an adjudication of guilt and assessed Tackett’s punishment at 25 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
