This Court granted discretionary review of this matter arising under the Post Conviction Relief Act (“PCRA”), 42 Pa.C.S. § 9541 et seq., to resolve two questions: (1) whether trial counsel was ineffective in failing to present evidence of appellant’s good character for truthfulness; and (2) whether *285the Superior Court erred in failing to remand this matter for the PCRA court to file an opinion reflecting its independent consideration of the counsel ineffectiveness claim.
