ROGERS, Justice.
On July 1, 1922, the Masonic Mutual Life Association of the District of Columbia, now known as the Acacia Mutual Life Insurance Company, issued its policy in the sum of $5,000 to Johnie Graham Bell, with his wife, Helon Octavia Bell, as beneficiary. The first annual premium of $146.45 was paid by Bell to the insurance company when the policy was delivered, and this was the only premium ever paid on the contract of insurance.
