Plaintiffs motion to amend his notice of claim pursuant to General Municipal Law § 50-e (6), and defendants’ cross motion to dismiss the notice of claim pursuant to General Municipal Law § 50-e (1) (a), are determined as follows.
This is an action in which plaintiff seeks to recover damages sustained as a result of the unlawful retention and forfeiture of his vehicle by the County of Nassau and the Nassau County Police Department (collectively, the County).
