We granted this appeal to determine whether the trial court and the Court of Appeals erred in dismissing the plaintiffs’ wrongful death claim after concluding that the one-year statute of limitations was not tolled during the minority of the decedent’s children or during the time the action was pending in federal district court before it was dismissed for lack of jurisdiction.
