Appeal by the de*594fendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Demakos, J.), rendered July 23, 1992, convicting him of murder in the second degree (two counts), robbery in the first degree, and criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is modified, on the law, by reversing the convictions of murder in the second degree under the first count of the indictment and criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree under the fifth count of the indictment, vacating the sentences imposed thereon, and…
