Per Curiam :
This is an action on the case brought in the superior court of Cook county to recover damages for personal injuries received by plaintiff in error through an electric shock from a broken electric wire which had fallen across a street in the city of Chicago.
For the purpose of lighting certain portions of the city-an electric light plant was maintained by defendant in error. As a part of such plant two wires were suspended over Ashland avenue.
