Accused was tried on two specifications of absence without leave in violation of Article 86, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 50 USC § 680, one specification of unlawfully appropriating an automobile, and two specifications of larceny, in violation of Article 121, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 50 USC § 715. He pleaded guilty to the two specifications of absence without leave and not guilty to the other alleged offenses.
