*857In an action, inter alia, to recover damages for medical malpractice, the plaintiff appeals (1) as limited by his brief, from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Steinhardt, J.), dated January 26, 2006, as granted the defendant’s motion to dismiss the complaint as time-barred and denied, as academic, the plaintiffs cross motion, among other things, to compel certain disclosure, and (2) from a judgment of the same court entered March 23, 2006, which, upon the order, dismissed the complaint.
