The Sioux City Stockyards Company is a corporation organized under the laws of this state, and having its principal place of business at Sioux City. It is capitalized at $3,000,000, represented by fifteen thousand shares of preferred stock, having a market value of $65 per share, and a like number of shares of common stock, having a market value of $20 per share.
