A special court-martial composed of a military judge sitting alone, convicted Appellant, pursuant to his pleas, of insubordinate conduct toward a superior petty officer (two specifications), wrongful use of controlled substances (three specifications), and breaking restriction, in violation of Articles 91, 112a, and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), 10 U.S.C. §§ 891, 912a, 934 (2000).
