Before the Court is the motion to dismiss filed by cross-defendants Shearson Lehman Brothers, Inc. (“Shearson”) and Shearson Lehman Brothers, Inc. (Puerto Rico) (“Shearson PR”) on April 7, 1986, collectively identified as the “Shearson Companies” or “Shearson defendants”. 1 Shear- son and Shearson PR seek the dismissal of the Amended Cross-claims filed by the Federal Savings & Loan Insurance Corporation (“FSLIC”) against them.
