Prior to bankruptcy, the plaintiff Rhonda Masquat commenced a class action against Old Careo LLC f/k/a Chrysler LLC (“Chrysler”) relating to a defect in its vehicles. Chrysler and Masquat subsequently entered into a stipulation pursuant to which Chrysler agreed to relief from the stay, Masquat agreed to limit any recovery to insurance coverage and Masquat otherwise waived the class’s claims against the estate.
