Defendants-Appellants BP Exploration & Production, Inc., BP Products North America, Inc., and BP Corporation North America, Inc. (collectively “BP”) appeal the district court’s judgment in favor of Intervenor/Plaintiff-Appellee Elton Johnson (“Johnson”). The district court, over BP’s objection, enforced a putative $2.7 million settlement agreement against BP in Johnson’s favor.
