RIFKIND, District Judge.

Plaintiffs are the owners of Calva’s Patent No. 2,240,388, issued April 29, 1941, on a divisional application filed February 24, 1941. The parent application was filed October 19, 1936. The plaintiffs brought suit at law for damages resulting from the alleged infringement by defendants of claims 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 and 13. These claims, so far as they are pertinent here, relate to a method of treating sheepskins so as to permanently straighten the wool hair, and thus to simulate more expensive furs.
