PAINTER, Judge.

1TDefendant, Taurean Jackson, appeals the thirty-year sentence he received after being found to be a fourth felony offender upon his conviction of theft of goods between $300.00 and $500.00, a violation of La.R.S. 14:67.10. For the reasons that follow, we amend the sentence to delete that portion which prohibits the benefit of parole and affirm the sentence in all other respects.
