Appellant, defendant below, appeals from a judgment entered by the Superior Court of Baltimore City upon the verdict of a jury in favor of the equitable plaintiff, Clyde Marion Brown, who with his father, James R. Brown, and sister, Geraldine E. Brown, brought suit in the name of the State of Maryland under the provisions of Code, Article 67, known as “Lord Campbell’s Act,” to recover damages sustained by them by reason of appellee’s alleged negligence causing the death of Inez Elizabeth Brown, wife of James R.
