I. INTRODUCTION

The resolution of this appeal turns on á single issue: When does a claim that an insurer acted in bad faith by failing to settle a third-party insurance claim accrue for purposes of the statute of limitations? Christina Connelly — -who appeals the Superior Court’s dismissal of her claim against State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company — contends that a claim accrues only when the insured suffers a judgment in excess of policy limits, and that judgment becomes final and non-ap-pealable.
