OPINION

MURPHY, Chief Justice.

Appellant, Royal Anthony Hayden, appeals a jury conviction for aggravated sexual assault of his eight-year-old niece. See Tex. Penal Code Ann. § 22.021(a) (Vernon 1989). 1 After finding “true” to an enhancement paragraph, the jury sentenced appellant to thirty (80) years confinement in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
