Flying J Fish Farm, Charles Jay, and Charles’s mother Anne Jay (hereinafter referred to collectively as “the Jays”) and Renee Laurie Jay (“Renee”), Charles’s wife, appeal from a summary judgment in favor of Peoples Bank of Greensboro (“Peoples Bank”), its directors, Wynne Coleman, and C.
