In this case we review a Superior Court judge’s order granting summary judgment in favor of the defendants, attorney Stephen T. Kunian and his law firm Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC (Eckert). The plaintiff, Nova Assignments, Inc. (Nova), is the assignee of the law firm Postemak Blankstein & Lund, LLP (PBL).2 Our standard of review of the judge’s order granting summary judgment is the familiar one.
