WHITE, Judge.
Defendant appeals the judgment entered after his conviction by jury of first degree assault. Defendant also appeals the denial, *814without an evidentiary hearing, of his Rule 29.15 motion for post-conviction relief. We affirm.
Defendant does not challenge the sufficiency of the evidence. In the early morning of February 29, 1992, the victim went to a restaurant with two persons he met the previous evening.
