The defendant prosecutes this appeal from a judgment rendered against it in favor of the plaintiff for the sum of $8,400. The judgment appealed from is for professional services rendered by the plaintiff in the capacity of an attorney at law for the Bonneville Hotel Company. After the plaintiff rendered the services which form the basis of this action the defendant purchased certain property from and assumed and agreed to pay certain obligations, of the Bonneville Hotel Company.
