Defendant was convicted by jury of the following offenses: count 1—infliction of corporal injury on a cohabitant of the opposite sex (Pen. Code, § 273.5); count 2—possession of cocaine (Health & Saf. Code, § 11350); count 3—possession of methamphetamine (Health & Saf. Code, § 11377); count 4—exhibition of a firearm in a threatening manner (Pen. Code, § 417, subd.
