Suzanne Keeney (plaintiff) appeals the dismissal of an action she brought against the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission (MoDOT) for damages for an alleged violation of the Missouri Human Rights Act. 1 Plaintiffs petition alleged she was denied promotion because of her gender. The trial court granted a motion to dismiss the petition on the basis that plaintiffs suit is barred by-sovereign immunity. This court reverses and remands.
