¶ 1. In this disciplinary proceeding, the referee concluded that the Office of Lawyer Regulation (OLR) had proven the one count of misconduct contained in the complaint filed by the OLR against Attorney Elizabeth A. Ewald-Herrick. The OLR claimed that by committing her fourth operating while intoxicated (OWI) offense in five years, Attorney Ewald-Herrick committed a criminal act that reflects adversely on her fitness as a lawyer and thereby violated SCR 20:8.4(b).
