Plaintiff in error was indicted in the circuit court of Williamson county upon the charge of murdering Floyd James. On the second trial of the case as to him he was found guilty of manslaughter. The indictment was returned originally against plaintiff in error and his father, Henry Jarvis. On the first trial his father was acquitted and the jury disagreed as to the guilt of plaintiff in error. Another trial was had with the result here indicated.
