The plaintiff brought this action to quiet title to a quarter section of land in Burleigh county which the plaintiff claims to have acquired from the county by virtue of a contract entered into with the county pursuant to the provisions of chapter 288, ND Session Laws 1931, as amended by chapter 235, ND Session Laws 1939. The county claimed title to the property by virtue of tax sale proceedings based upon taxes levied for the year 1931.
