Memorandum Opinion and Order
MARK E. FULLER, District Judge.
I. Introduction
Artez Hammonds was convicted of capital murder in the Circuit Court of Houston County, Alabama. The jury recommended the death penalty, and the trial court agreed, sentencing Hammonds to death. After his case weaved its way through Alabama’s state court system, Hammonds decided to petition this Court for a writ of habeas corpus. (Doc. # 6.) Having reviewed the state court record, and after fully considering his claims for relief, *1276Hammonds’ habeas petition is due to be denied.
