Court of Appeals of the State of Georgia ATLANTA,____________________ August 19, 2026 The Court of Appeals hereby passes the following order: A27A0053. JOHN MILLER v. THE STATE. In 2006, John Miller pleaded guilty to rape and other sexual offenses. On April 21, 2026, Miller filed in the trial court a motion for an out-of-time appeal and to withdraw his guilty plea, and he copied the Supreme Court of Georgia. The Supreme Court construed Miller’s filing as a “purported notice of appeal” and, because it could ascertain no basis for its jurisdiction, it transferred the matter to this Court. See…
