Senator Fair died, December 28, 1894, leaving a last will and testament, which was admitted to probate in the superior court for the city and county of San Francisco, November 16, 1896, and letters testamentary thereon were on the same day issued to W.S. Goodfellow, James S. Angus, and Thomas G. Crothers, who were named in the will as its executors. The testator left surviving him, as his heirs at law, three children; viz., Charles L.
