(after stating the facts as above). [ 1 ] The law in regard to this case is well established, but the facts are controverted, and in order to reach a correct conclusion it is necessary to ascertain, if possible, what actually occurred at the time of the collision. It appears that four witnesses testified on behalf of the schooner as to the material facts, while only one witness was produced who gave affirmative testimony on behalf of the Northland as to the main facts.
