The plaintiff, owner of an office building located at 2101 East Twelve Mile Road, Warren, Michigan, entered into a five-year lease with defendant, Richard J. Bischoff, doing business as Drill Head Design and Machine Engineering, on March 25, 1969. The defendant took possession on April 20, 1969, paid different rental amounts for the first three months as provided in the lease, and $1,375 for a period of 11 months.
