FISHER, Associate Judge:

Appellant asks us to reverse her conviction for assaulting, resisting, or interfering with a police officer (“APO”), in violation of D.C.Code § 22-405(b) (2001). Because we conclude that the trial court based its find ing of guilt on an erroneous interpretation of the statute, we reverse and remand for further proceedings.
