The state of Texas on the relation of C. L. Glenn and others instituted this proceeding to remove Judge J. Floyd Jordan, respondent, from the office of county judge of Motley county. Relators’ petition was filed September 17, 1929. District judge, in vacation, on the same day, entered an order on the minutes of the court, which recites that on September 17th came on to be heard in vacation the motion of the relators for citation to he issued and served, together with a certified copy of relators’ petition, upon the defendant.
