J. A. Richards was indicted in the Circuit Court of Wood county on the charge, that as agent and salesman of The *349Singer Manufacturing Company, a corporation under the laws of the state of New Jersey, without a license he unlawfully as such agent travelling with one or more horses did sell, offer and expose for sale sewing-machines known as “Singer Sewing-Machines.” Defendant moved the co'urt to quash the indictment; but his motion was overruled.
