These two actions of tort, one against the owner and the other against the operator of a bus, are brought by a passenger who was hurt due to allegedly negligent operation. The jury returned verdicts for the plaintiff. The defendants’ exceptions, in so far as argued, *548concern rulings on evidence and the denial of their motions for directed verdicts.
