FINDINGS OF FACT

Defendant, DeKalb County, was awarded a judgment against the debtor, Maytag Sales and Service, Inc. on December 9,1976, in DeKalb Superior Court. On February 19, 1980, a writ of fieri facias was entered in the DeKalb County records based on this judgment. Thereafter, on April 16, 1981, slightly more than four years after the judgment was rendered, defendant filed a garnishment action and a summons of garnishment was served on the debtor’s bank the following day.
