By order of this court on April 2, 2008, the claimants to the defendant properties were awarded attorneys’ fees under the provisions of the Civil Asset Forfeiture Reform Act, 28 U.S.C. § 2465(b) (“CAF-RA”) (doc. 72). The claimants have since filed evidence of the attorneys’ fees that they incurred in defending this case (doc. 73) and the parties have both filed briefs on the relevant issues raised by the claimants’ submission (docs. 74 & 75).
