The International Organization of Masters, Mates and Pilots, Atlantic and Gulf Maritime Region, AFL-CIO (union), filed a complaint in the Superior Court in Suffolk County seeking to compel the Woods Hole, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority (Authority) to submit all unresolved issues in their contract negotiations to final and binding arbitration under the jurisdiction of the Board of Conciliation and Arbitration (Board).
