Appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court at Special Term (Hughes, J.), entered April 10, 1984 in Albany County, which granted petitioner’s applications, in two proceedings brought pursuant to CPLR article 78, to direct the Attorney-General to provide a defense for petitioners in a civil action brought against them in Federal court.
