MEMORANDUM OPINION
MYRON H. THOMPSON, Chief Judge.
This ten-year-old lawsuit, brought by plaintiffs, African-American citizens of defendant City of Greensboro, Alabama, claiming that the at-large system used by the city to elect its city council members violated § 2 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, as amended, 42 U.S.C.A. § 1973, appears to have reached a long-sought end. This lawsuit is now before the court on the Special Master Richard M. Gervase’s reports and recommendation of Plan B for redistrieting the city.
