ARCENEAUX, District Judge.
This suit in admiralty was filed on the anniversary date of the sinking of the M/Y SOUTH TIDE in the Gulf of Mexico. Plaintiffs, TMS Acquisition Corporation (“TMS”) and Tidex, Inc. (“Tidex”) originally sought recovery for loss of vessel, search and location expenses, and certain hire and operating charges from defendants Oilfield Marine, Inc. and its predecessor corporation, A.L.
