Exzavious Lee Gibson was convicted by a Dodge County jury of murder and armed robbery. He was sentenced to death on the murder conviction and to life imprisonment for the armed robbery. We affirm the conviction and death sentence.

1. The victim operated a family-owned grocery store in Eastman. Late in the afternoon of February 2, 1990, Eastman’s chief, of police, driving by the store during a routine patrol, saw a crowd at the front entrance.
