Background

CLARKE, District Judge.

This matter comes to the Court on plaintiff’s Motion to File an Amended Complaint. On March 27, 1980, the plaintiff, Wilbur T. Moore, filed a Complaint alleging that he had been permanently injured while working for Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company (“the Yard”), as a result of defendant’s negligence, and in violation of the General Admiralty Law of the United States and other applicable statutes.
