The complainant filed his bill of complaint as a resident of the city of Newark, in the county of Essex, in the court of chancery, charging that Thomas J. Hand, on June 2-3d and 30th, on July 7th and 14th, on August 18th, on September 15th, 1918, *584and continuously for some time prior thereto,’ did keep and maintain a certain building for the purpose of lewdness, assignation and prostitution and habitual sale of intoxicating liquors in violation of law, and wherein other indecent and disorderly acts are permitted and occur.
