THIS MATTER is before the Court on the parties’ cross motions for summary judgment (ECF Nos. 89, 91).1 Plaintiff Emmett Jafari (“Jafari”) seeks damages for common law defamation and retaliation in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”) from Defendant Old Dominion Transit Management Company (d/b/a The Greater Richmond Transit Company) (“GRTC”).
