People v. Barfield

Defendant, Kumasi J. Barfield, appeals from the decision of the circuit court of Jackson County denying his motion to dismiss the charge against him of armed robbery. Defendant filed the motion to dismiss this charge, claiming that it was barred on the grounds of double jeopardy. Defendant claims that he was formerly tried before a jury on the same charge and that the trial court, Honorable David W.
