{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant, Clemon D. Parham, appeals a judgment of the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas that sentenced him to 18 years to life imprisonment for aggravated robbery and felony murder. For the following reasons, we affirm that judgment.

{¶ 2} In this case, the state tried Parham for offenses arising from two separate incidents: (1) the robbery and beating death of Kevin Connal, and (2) the kidnapping and shooting death of Jermaine Hill. The jury found Parham guilty of the offenses arising out of the robbery and death of Connal; it found Parham not guilty of the offenses…
